Arkona will in future rely on KSC hardware from BFE, responding to growing demand for high-quality control panels.
Arkona Expands Its Portfolio with KSC Hardware from BFE
Arkona technologies GmbH and BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH have agreed on an OEM partnership. As part of the collaboration, BFE will be manufacturing KSC control panels for arkona. Arkona will distribute the hardware worldwide under its own label.
The partnership was driven by growing demand for hardware control solutions to operate arkona’s Blade//runner systems. As the Blade//runner platform has become more widespread, customers have increasingly sought an end-to-end control solution from a single source.
Direct Control of Blade//runner via KSC Control Panels
Arkona has already integrated the KSC control panels' control protocol into its systems today. This allows sources and destinations of a Blade//runner system to be switched directly via KSC control panels.
The solution is aimed particularly at broadcasters and operators working in environments that rely heavily on manual processes and have lower requirements for automation and workflow control.
Proven Hardware for Broadcast Applications
BFE's KSC control panels have been in use worldwide for many years. Through the OEM partnership, arkona customers will gain direct access to this hardware as part of the arkona portfolio, while retaining the flexibility to add further control panels as their requirements evolve. One example of practical use is an international project where KSC control panels were used to control a video and audio matrix for a major sports event.
