The future of media technology is IP-based - this is also demonstrated by the regional event ‘Deep Dive Media over IP’, which the FKTG Rhine-Main regional group is hosting together with netorium AG on 22 May 2025 at the ZDF premises in Mainz.

The programme includes current insights and comparative studies on IP technologies such as NDI and SMPTE 2110 - flanked by technical contributions and practical examples from well-known industry participants.

Our new CTO Hartmut Opfermann will provide a technical impulse from our side. In his presentation on ‘Signal management in SMPTE 2110 networks’, he will show how the complexity of modern IP infrastructures in the broadcast environment can be sensibly reduced for the operator in order to enable efficient and secure operation.

In addition to the presentations, the event offers plenty of room for personal dialogue between experts. The number of participants is limited, early registration is recommended.
