For the third year running, we are taking part in Tag der Technik, the technology careers fair run by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Rheinhessen (IHK für Rheinhessen). The fair is for school students, teachers and anyone curious about a technical career.

What visitors can expect at the BFE stand

At our workbench, visitors build an insect hotel from wooden and metal parts. Everyone who joins in saws, drills and assembles the parts themselves, then takes the finished hotel home. Our trainers from carpentry, metalwork and design engineering help out and answer questions about everyday work at BFE.

In our workshops, we use similar tools and materials to build production desks, lecterns and media columns for studios, conference rooms and control rooms. Every piece is a one-off, made for a specific project.
