Effective September 1, 2026, Hartmut Opfermann has taken over responsibility for Development at BFE. At the same time, he has joined the Broadcast Solutions Group's CTO Office. In his role as Head of Development, he succeeds Konstantin Schinas, who is leaving the company.

Opfermann has served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of BFE since May 2025 and will continue in this position. As a member of the CTO Office, he will work alongside the other technology leaders of the Broadcast Solutions Group. This group-wide structure combines technological expertise, strategic alignment, and close collaboration with customers. At BFE, Opfermann will additionally assume responsibility for the strategic and organizational development of the company's development department.

His career in the broadcast industry began at BFE in 2001. After holding various positions in the media and IT sectors, he returned to BFE in 2025 as CTO.
