In the heart of the state capital of Dresden, the Stadtforum is a central administrative centre that sets new standards in terms of flexibility, proximity to citizens and digital infrastructure. BFE adapted existing plans for the innovative building ensemble and realised comprehensive media technology equipment - from the conference room to the meeting island.

Task

As part of the ‘Administrative Accommodation Concept 2030’, a working environment was to be created that provides optimum technical support for modern administrative work, barrier-free citizen communication and hybrid meetings. The challenge was to adapt and implement a scalable AV system for over 130 meeting and event rooms - including mobile technology solutions, BYOD integration and centralised control in selected areas.

Solution

BFE revised the original concepts and realised a modular overall system based on current AV standards. The technology was customised precisely to room sizes, types of use and user groups - from mobile media racks to AV-over-IP and audio support systems. The result: a user-friendly infrastructure for analogue, hybrid and digital formats.
