TopVision is one of Germany's biggest transmission vehicle service providers. Various projects have already been successfully implemented in the past with BFE. A perfect basis, therefore, for developing and implementing their latest fleet expansion together with us. This transmission vehicle has now been in successful operation since August 2012.
Task:
We were tasked with developing and equipping the Ü51 (24-camera HD transmission vehicle for major sports events). The order included the integration of all technical components including initial startup and all services. The job also involved the implementation of another, identical vehicle, the Ü21 model.
Solution:
BFE developed a 16.5 meter long semi-trailer with an innovative climate control and space concept. Seven separate climate zones ensure the perfect temperatures in any situation. Four work rooms provide space for two video editorial units and image technology stations, a sound-control station, and a voiceover booth. A total of 24 workstations offer perfect conditions and satisfy even the highest acoustic requirements. Ready for any application and every challenge. A further support vehicle was also implemented for both the Ü51 and Ü21. Each of the two vehicles has an additional production workstation, offering even greater flexibility in deployment.
Highlights:
The semi-trailer can be expanded to a width of 4.25 meters, thus further increasing the available space if needed.
The storage system for cable drums was integrated into the underfloor area, which means greater use of storage space with faster set-up times.
The interior features infinitely variable ambient lighting.
BFE delivered the complete range of services: with extensive consultation before the body construction, complete initial startup, integration, and on-site service.
